Teacups planted with portulaca

This is one of the clever Crafts from our Bounty that will be featured at our First Annual Christmas Gathering at the D.D. Collins House on Saturday, December 3rd, 2016.

The teacups are vintage and the portulaca flowers, Jump Up and Kiss Me are just like the ones grown in our flower garden by the Collinsville Garden Club.

Did you know that The Jump and Kiss Me flower was a favorite of Irving Dilliard, who purchased the D.D. Collins House and donated it to the City. Our gardens will feature a special section dedicated to Irving and the Jump Up and Kiss Me flower.
